Liberty Flyers is an Academy of Model Aeronautics radio control model airplane club located in Petaluma, California. We are dedicated to providing a fun and safe flying experience for everyone - from seasoned pilots, to people of all ages who are just learning how to fly.

Our name comes from the location of our flying field in Sonoma County's Liberty Valley. The field is open 7 days a week and has a brand new stretched-fabric runway, a solar-powered battery charging station, plenty of prep tables, and even a portable restroom for those long flying sessions.

Our members fly electric and gas-powered RC airplanes, helicopters, and FPV drones. In addition to fun flying, we occasionally hold AMA RC Combat competition events for all the Red Barons out there. We take safety seriously, but promote a relaxed atmosphere.
